Michael Finley

Michael is an attorney at Brown & Crouppen, where he focuses on helping those who have sustained injuries in accidents caused by the wrongdoing of others. Since joining Brown & Crouppen in 2018, Michael has consistently obtained insurance company policy limits for injuries his clients have sustained in motor vehicle accidents. He has also secured additional recoveries, such as from the Missouri Tort Victims’ Compensation Fund for clients who were the victims of individuals who were driving while intoxicated. Michael believes one of the most important services Brown & Crouppen provides is helping its clients achieve a resolution to their medical bills. To that end, he negotiates diligently with medical providers and insurance companies to ensure maximum compensation for injured clients.

Michael is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois. He received his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. Prior to law school, he graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration. Michael spent the first ten years of his career representing insurance companies. As a result, he is uniquely aware of the tactics they use to try to avoid compensating injured people properly. He uses this knowledge and his passion for helping people to fight insurance companies in order to achieve results for his injured clients.

In addition to his work at Brown & Crouppen, Michael provides pro bono representation to individuals sued for past due rent with the possibility of eviction. Michael serves the citizens of Ballwin, Missouri, as Alderman of Ward 1, since being first elected in 2010. He presently serves as chairman of Ballwin’s Public Health and Safety Committee.

When not practicing law, Michael enjoys playing softball, hockey, and bass guitar. He has also had a brush with Hollywood as an extra in the movie, “Up In The Air.”
